P400S Miura approximatively converted into SVJ in year 1986 by the Factory , ordered by Patrick Mimran.
In 1986, the SVJ era is definitively revolved, long time ago...The Factory wil do its best - depending of its own possibilities - to built an "as accurate as possible" SVJ from a Miura S basis - the closest as possible compared to the original period Factory SVJs.Finally, we can notice many differences compared with original SVJs:
1) the front spoiler is oversized ; width is too important and its shape reaches the upper point of the front wheel arches.2) Except around the openings, this 4088 has abolutely no rivets at all ; and "J" means somewhere like the "Jota" ... so, with rivets on each panel ends.3) Two serial front wipers4) To be confirmed, the exterior door handles appears not to be SVJ type . Yes, the SVJ door handles are very specific compared to all other Miuras.5) the rear valance (rear grille) has been kept - so in opposite as on the original Jota.6) The front spot lights fitted are not the correct Carello type, as mounted on the genuine SVJs.As a conclusion, one could never consider this Miura 4088 as a Miura SVJ, this mainly due to the following three points:a) This car is only close to official SVJ on a manufacturing point of view
b) This car is far from the genuine SVJ period
c) This car has been built on a S basis ... so, a " SJ " why not ?...
